Diaspora simply means “people from a given country who live outside their ancestral homeland.” In this case, it means people whose roots are from countries like DR Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Europe, the US, India, China, Sudan, South Sudan, Eritrea, or Ethiopia, and anywhere else. Uganda is a highly diversified and peaceful country, and it is possible to find your community no matter the culture of interest or origin. As of today, around 5 million Ugandans have their roots in other cultures and countries other than Uganda.
Below are a few diaspora communities on this platform. Join any of them, and begin meeting and enjoying your people. You could even be the ambassador or representative of your community; let us know here. Thank you.
